Can you believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner? It’s astonishing to me that one of my favorite holidays will be here again before we know it!
I don’t do much (if any) decorating for Thanksgiving, but I do like to add one or two Thanksgiving-specific items to my regular fall decor, if I think of it. Last year I made Funky Pilgrim Silhouette Vases, and this year I made this funny Thanksgiving printable to add to the quirky Thanksgiving decor thing I have going on.
So in all seriousness, lest you think I am an ungrateful person, behind the humor of this printable there’s truth to its message. Sometimes Thanksgiving falls during a tough time for you or your family, and it can be hard to think of things to be grateful for in your life. But if you really reflect on it, even some of the smallest things are things for which you can (and should) give thanks. Wine and pie included.
So this Thanksgiving — no matter your circumstances — pour yourself a nice glass of red (or white. Or whatever you like to drink, even if it’s non-alcoholic.), cut yourself a big old slice of pumpkin pie, and give thanks for the blessings in your life, no matter how big or small.
Oh . . . and download this printable right here. It prints best up to an 8×10, and if you print it at home, just trim it to size. It’s for personal use only, and would make a nice host or hostess gift for whomever is preparing your Thanksgiving meal. Pop it in a frame and you’re good to go.
Cheers to you and yours.
